Class Description

Preserved lemons are a fermented condiment consisting of lemons cured in salt and various spices popular in Mediterranean cuisine.  This class will guide you through how to make preserved lemons and how to use them to add brightness and tang to many flavorful dishes.  We will send you home with a starter kit to make your first batch of preserved lemons at home plus some recipes using your preserved lemons.  This class will be led by UC Master Food Preserver Jodi Bay.
